A little over a year ago I closed on my new-build home and it has been a tremendous blessing to be able to fill it with beautiful fixtures and furnishings! I LOVE texture (obviously, lol) and I wanted to incorporate a range of them with a neutral color palette and touches of color. To begin, I created a mock-up of my living room, kitchen and dining room to help me visualize how everything would fit visually and flow together since I have an open floor plan on this level.
I started my search by visiting showroom floors of my favorite retailers to get a feel for what was available and how the colors and textures would appear in person. I then visited their websites to look further into the details of size and other options and to grab pictures of the items I wanted. Next, I used remove.bg to create png files and Photo Grid (available in the app store) to layout each room.
